With Senator Bernie Sanders’ (I-Vt) recent attempts to pass legislation to assist veterans, and the stark reality that 22 veterans commit suicide every day, this documentary could not be more timely in its attempts to inform the public of the long-term costs of war.
Leave No Soldier follows two generations of veterans, painting a vivid picture of how America treats its soldiers when they are no longer on the battlefield. It probes two opposite responses to the Vietnam and Iraq conflicts, both of which involve love for comrades, support for and opposition against their respective wars.
